ERÚ: Regulatory electricity price to drop, gas to cost more

The regulated price of electricity for households will drop 1.2% in 2015. The Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ) has informed that the drop will be driven by lower prices of most individual components of regulated prices. The regulated portion of the end price of electricity in 2015 will drop by an average of 2.1% for customers on very high voltage level, by 1.6% on clients on high voltage level and by 1.4% on the low voltage level. The average electricity distribution costs will drop 0.6%. The regulated portion of gas price will grow by an average of 7.37% and the end price of the regulated component will average CZK 195.72/MWh. The total prices of gas for 2015 will probably grow by 1-2%, if the price of the commodity stagnates on the current level, depending on the geopolitical development.
