Consumer prices rose by 0.1 pct

Consumer prices in the Czech Republic increased by 0.2% MOM in February. This was due to the increase in the prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 4 %. A decrease of 3.8% was recorded in fuel prices. The prices of goods in total remained unchanged, the prices of services rose by 0.3%. The annual consumer price inflation stood at 0.1%. The prices of goods in total dropped by 0.6%, while the prices of services were higher by 1.2%. Overall consumer price index excluding imputed rentals was 100.0% YOY. The Czech Statistical Office (CSO) provided the information.
