SCF have recently joined FEIFA and were proud to attend the inaugural FEIFA spring conference. The conference has enabled SCF to team up with companies like JP Morgan + HSBC to offer our clients access at discounted rates to these market leading funds. SCF are happy to discuss how these funds may be suitable for clients and future prospects.

SCF have also teamed up with IDAD who offer tailor made structured notes through Morgan Stanley, Citibank, Nomura and other global blue chip banks. These exclusive products offer HNWI the opportunity to invest into the current ‘hot investment themes’ with minimal risk and excellent potential returns. IDAD have expertise in this field which spans a decade or more and they were delighted to recently be able to visit Prague and offer their products to clients through SCF.

SCF continue to be a market leader in providing advice with regard to the ever expanding QROP market. SCF are also working to help expats with frozen European pensions as well as UK pensions to free up the benefits of their schemes. Pension laws around Europe are changing and it is important for those affected to get professional advice as to what their options are. SCF is ideally positioned to help in this regard.

SCF continue to provide mortgage advice across Europe and beyond and have strengthened their portfolio of products. Traditionally SCF have concentrated on mortgages in the Czech Republic, Poland & Slovakia. SCF have however recently struck up relationships with new lenders enabling them to provide mortgages right across Europe including the UK. SCF can also offer mortgages in other countries through asset backed lending which is very useful for HNWI who do not necessarily want to disclose their income and fill out endless forms.

With the financial crisis becoming a distant memory many HNWI are looking to buy property again in the prestigious markets like London, Paris, Singapore and beyond. SCF have teamed up with a prominent property search company in the UK which is able to offer clients sometimes unique opportunities to buy quality properties in London which often never make it to the market. This exclusive service is available through SCF who can also arrange chauffeur driven tours of properties after initial meetings and discussions with potential clients.

As supporting members of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), SCF exhibited at the 30th Annual COBIS Conference which was held in London from 7-9th May. Attended by 120 Heads, Directors and Principals from all over the world, SCF was on hand to advise teachers on QROPS pension transfers and all aspects of offshore pension planning and investing. SCF was also one of the conference sponsors and held a Q&A session on QROPS which always proves to be a highly popular topic amongst delegates. Continuing its proactive role within the international school market, Star Capital Finance will be attending similar conferences later in the year in Lisbon, Madrid and Bangkok.
