Prague College, one of the Czech Republic’s leading English language universities, is delighted to announce the introduction of a new ‘Flexible Business Programme’ for working students starting in its forthcoming new semester.
The traditional Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management is one of Prague College’s most popular programmes, but the college has realised that it is not always possible for students who are already professionally employed, who travel for business, or who have other calls on their time (such as looking after a child or young family) to commit to attending college on a regular basis during the working week.
Starting from September, Prague College is offering its International Business Management Bachelor’s degree in a format that has been specifically designed for working students, with the majority of the course being based on a combination of online distance learning, blended learning with weekend classes, tutorials and some self-study.Talking about the new programme, Douglas Hajek, one of the founders and director of Prague College said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this new programme for the busy student as there is no doubt that in today’s world more and more people need to be able to combine studying with other time-consuming activities. The highlights of the programme include the ability for the student to develop existing professional skills and strengths at his or her own pace, thereby providing a benefit to employers who value the continuous improvement that comes from lifelong learning, and, importantly, the ability for the student to start at any time of the year; autumn, spring or summer.”
The Flexible Business Programme offers exactly the same content as the full Bachelor's programme, but can be completed in 3.5 years - shorter than the traditional part-time course. The first classes will be taught from this coming September and cost is Kc 39,000 Kc per semester for the first seven semesters and Kc 79,000 per semester for the final year (two semesters).
