“Winning is as much about attitude as aptitude especially when the chips are down.” Peter Guber
I heard someone once say that 85% of winning is just showing up. I would add to that: it’s just showing up with the right attitude. I am often amazed at the power of attitude in my own life. I find that whatever my attitude is, going into an experience, more often than not predicts the outcome. Have you ever met someone that can only see problems and barriers as their first reaction to anything they are asked to do? Honestly speaking, if you could decide, would you want that person on your team as you undertake a critical, complex project? How would you say most people would describe your approach? Does your attitude raise, or lower, the attitudes of others? These are key questions to ask one’s self on the journey to self-awareness.
Till next time…
